Today we made another donation to Meals On Wheels of Rockland County just in time for the holiday season. Meals on Wheels delivers almost 800 meals a day to Rockland County seniors in need. They also offer a Senior Activity Center at their location in Nanuet.

Today we presented a check to New Era Creative Space. The non-profit offers performing and visual arts, leadership and empowerment programs for young people aged 5 to 18, with the goal of fostering confidence and self-expression.

Good morning all,
This is my Public Health Announcement for the day. Last year New York City had an infestation of the Spotted Lanternfly. This year they are back,north of the city in my area.

This morning I called the health department and they referred me to the dec.gov website and I also did a little digging and found more information online about this bug (see attached).

They advised me to stomp on it or smash any bug that I see. That is disgusting when you think about it, this bug is huge, maybe the size of a quarter.

Spotted Lanternflies have taken over NYC, and it's super important to immediately kill them if one flies your way.

The Center offers programs and services to victims and survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, human trafficking and other crimes.
