🌟 A big shoutout to our Young Lawyers Division and the Essex County Bar Association Young Lawyers Section for their incredible work at the MEND event on February 21! 🙌 Together, they volunteered at the mobile market, serving 450 families with fresh, healthy food. In addition, they raised over $1,000 and donated 110 lbs. of essential nonperishable items. Thank you to everyone who participated and supported this meaningful initiative! 💚

Last weekend, the NJSBA’s Young Lawyers Division proudly hosted the Wills for Heroes event at the National Conference on EMS in Atlantic City! A dedicated team of 14 lawyers, paralegals, and law students provided pro bono estate planning services to nearly 900 Emergency Medical Services workers.

Special thanks to Wills for Heroes Co-Chair Kaitline Hackett and former Co-Chair Will Dungey, who led an insightful panel on the critical importance of estate planning, including advanced healthcare directives and powers of attorney for our EMS heroes.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated and supported this meaningful initiative! Together, we’re making a difference. 💙

The NJSBA’s Young Lawyers Division kicked back last week at Paint, Sip & Karaoke Night. Attendees had the chance to unwind, mingle and show off their creative talents during a three-hour guided painting session with a touch of music. Last weekend, the Young Lawyers Division hosted a successful Wills for Heroes event at the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office. We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who participated and supported this initiative!

Looking ahead, our next Wills for Heroes event will be dedicated to EMS personnel during the National EMS Conference at Harrah’s Resort in Atlantic City on November 22. We invite volunteers to join us in this important effort.
