📅✨ CLIENT TIP TUESDAY: Keep Track of Important Dates! ✨📅
One of the easiest ways to help your immigration case stay on track is by keeping up with important dates and deadlines.
Immigration matters often involve appointments, interviews, renewal deadlines, and requests for information. Missing a date can lead to delays, additional expenses, or even negative consequences for your case.
🗓️ Important dates to keep track of may include:
✅ Biometrics Appointments
✅ USCIS Interviews
✅ Immigration Court Hearings
✅ Requests for Evidence (RFE) Deadlines
✅ Medical Exam Appointments
✅ Green Card Expiration Dates
✅ Employment Authorization (Work Permit) Expiration Dates
✅ Passport Expiration Dates
✅ Naturalization Eligibility Dates
💡 Pro Tip: As soon as you receive a notice, add the date to your phone calendar and set reminders. We recommend setting multiple reminders—one month before, one week before, and one day before the appointment or deadline.
📂 Keep copies of appointment notices and bring them with you when attending interviews, biometrics appointments, or court hearings.
🚨 If you cannot attend a scheduled appointment or hearing, contact our office immediately. In many situations, waiting until the last minute can make it more difficult to address the issue.
📱 Don't forget to regularly check your mail, email, and Clio for Clients portal for updates and newly scheduled appointments.
Remember, immigration cases often move slowly—until they don't! When a notice arrives, there may be important deadlines attached to it.
💙 A missed deadline can create unnecessary delays, but a simple reminder can keep your case moving forward. Stay organized, stay informed, and stay prepared.
