We are searching for an experienced paralegal or administrative assistant to grow with our small law firm. We maintain a busy practice and need a reliable self-starter to help us successfully run our practice. Our ideal applicant would be well-versed in chancery and circuit court practice, and familiar with both civil and criminal law.

This is a full time position, Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. We offer competitive pay at $15 per hour, 2:1 IRA matching, and pay half of our employee's health policy with Blue Cross Blue Shield. We pride ourselves on being respectful, understanding employers and as such, give time off for the holidays, vacation, doctor's appointments, etc. We also provide an annual bonus.

Duties would include:

-Communicating with courts, attorneys, and clients regarding scheduling
-Answering the phone
-Assisting with drafting motions and orders
-Maintaining the office's filing system
-Keeping track of necessary dates for all cases and the two partners' calendars
-Recording and storing necessary client information
