You think ChatGPT is a good lawyer, until you show up in court and cite a case that isn't a case, and the judge notices. (I saw this happen today) Attorneys may seem irrelevant in an AI world, but I assure you that no AI sits in front of a judge, listens to them rule on hundreds of cases, and tries cases in front of them. That is a valuable experiencel that AI will never have. I am a much better attorney than AI, and so is any attorney who practices regularly.
