September was a Parents’ Weekend tour! We headed to Colorado for James IV, cheered JB on during a 9/11 remembrance climb, and saw one of my favorite former Overbrook students—now the director of admissions!

Visited Cade at a grand opening, took a quick trip to Florida with my dad to see his older brother and my aunt, and spent time with Conner at the Sigma Chi house.

And we’ve laughed so much over this AI image of James IV and Conner as Goose and Maverick. I can’t think of a better comparison for their relationship! ✈️

Feeling incredibly grateful for the trust and kind words from my clients. Thank you for the review!!

There aren’t enough superlatives to describe Heather and the way she helped us through the home selling and home buying process. Her immense knowledge, Her attention to detail, her diligence in finding the right buyer for our home while also finding the perfect home for us is second to none. She made us feel like we were her priority 24/7. Her guidance through the process, the constant communication, the transparency and her honesty sets her apart from other realtors who make you feel like you’re just a commission statement. She leaves no stone unturned, she fights in all the best ways for her clients and she does it all with a very calm demeanor that can help any anxieties a buyer may have. She makes you feel like she’s part of the family. We can’t say enough about the amazing job she did for our family to ensure we found exactly what it was we were looking for. She’s simply the best!!! I would recommend anyone and everyone to reach out and try to have Heather guide you through your home buying process. Jake W.

If you were born after 2001, you’ve never lived in a country that remembers September 11 the way we do. Take a minute to learn why. 🇺🇸

Twenty-five years ago today, our country changed forever.

On September 11, 2001, as America was under attack, two F-16 pilots from the D.C. Air National Guard at Joint Base Andrews—Lt. Heather “Lucky” Penney and Lt. Col. Marc Sasseville—were ordered into the sky to stop United Flight 93 from reaching Washington, D.C.

They launched their F-16s without missiles or live am******on. They knew that if they found the hijacked aircraft, they might have only one option: use their own jets to bring it down—and they might not come home.

They never found Flight 93.

The passengers aboard that plane had already made the ultimate sacrifice, rising up against the hijackers and forcing the aircraft into a field in Pennsylvania.
But Heather Penney and Marc Sasseville were ready to give their lives for their country and for the people they were sworn to protect.

This is just one of many, many stories of courage and sacrifice from September 11, 2001.

That is something we should never forget.

For those of us who remember September 11, it can be difficult to comprehend that there are now young Americans who have no memory of that day—or who were not yet born.

So we have a responsibility to tell them.
To remind them of the nearly 3,000 lives lost.
To remember the firefighters, police officers, first responders and ordinary citizens who ran toward danger.
To remember the passengers of Flight 93 who fought back.
And to remember the men and women in uniform who immediately answered the call to protect our country.

September 11 is history now, but it must never become forgotten history.

Remember.
Honor.
Teach.
And never forget. 🇺🇸
