Seems like yesterday I was picking her up to give her a daddy pep talk. The Blueberry Cubs. 🥲 What I wouldn’t do to slow down time.

I am grateful, blessed beyond words to be the father of such an amazing young lady. The past few weeks have been chocked full. Full of memory making that will last a lifetime. Daddy daughter dancing 🤠, being a Swiftie in the rain till 2am, showing your willingness and bravery playing a new sport (scoring your 1st goal 🥍), school dances, winning the House Cup and topping it off, graduation 👩‍🎓.

I’m still in disbelief my baby girl is heading to college (Samford). I will miss her immensely. I will miss making her breakfast every morning. I will miss her coming home everyday after school. I will miss just knowing she is in her room. I have certainly taken it for granted. I know she is ready, but daddy isn’t. Don’t think I ever will be.

I am so incredibly proud of her. I take solace in knowing God is in control and has a wonderful plan for her. My prayer is she continues to be the amazingly bright light of love and caring for people and never stops being brave. Your potential is limitless.
