Join us for an evening of networking, fellowship, and connection as we come together to celebrate another successful year. Reconnect with colleagues and friends, meet new members, and strengthen the relationships that make our legal community so special.

This year’s Annual Meeting will also mark an important transition in leadership as we install new officers and welcome newly elected board members who will help guide the Association into the future.

The Napier-Looby Bar Association was proud to partner with the Nashville Bar Association’s Historical Committee for a powerful and meaningful CLE discussing the Nashville Sit-Ins, their lasting impact, the legal challenges of that era, and the continued fight for civil rights today.

The presentations were both inspiring and sobering - a reminder that civil rights still matter just as much today as they did in the 1960s. We honor the courage, sacrifice, and resilience of those who fought for justice, equality, and dignity - many of whom risked and gave their lives and livelihoods in the process.

Their legacy continues to challenge and inspire us to protect the rights so many fought to secure. The work is not finished.

The Napier-Looby Bar Association had an incredible time at our Wellness Retreat! This experience was a powerful reminder that wellness is essential - personally, professionally, financially, and physically.

We were honored to hear from mental health professionals on recognizing burnout, managing stress, and understanding when it’s time to seek support. Our financial experts shared valuable insight on retirement planning, savings, credit, homeownership, and building generational wealth, while healthcare professionals emphasized the importance of prioritizing our health, prevention, and proactive care.

From meaningful conversations to restorative experiences like yoga and a relaxing sound bath, the retreat created space for reflection, connection, and renewal.

A heartfelt thank you to all of our panelists, presenters, and everyone who joined us to make this retreat such a success!

Join us for our 3rd Annual Scholarship Brunch on June 27 at 2:00 pm as we bring together attorneys, judges, and other legal professionals and community members to celebrate the continued impact of our organization and to support the next generation of legal leaders.

This special event awards scholarships to deserving law students pursuing unpaid some public interest, legal internships across the greater Nashville area.

We are also honored to have Federal Public Defender, Dumaka Shabazz, as our keynote speaker who will share insights and inspiration with our community.
