There's a bias out there that motorcycle riders are somehow "asking for it" just by being on two wheels. It's not true... and it's not fair.

Here's one most drivers don't know: in Tennessee, an intersection doesn't need painted lines to be a legal crosswalk. These "unmarked crosswalks" still require drivers to yield to pedestrians — just like a marked one.

With shorter days and kids out walking more this time of year, it's worth the reminder: slow down at intersections, even without the stripes.
