If you’ve only stuck to Broadway, you’ve barely scratched the surface—just a block or two away, Printers Alley is hiding in plain sight. Tucked between 3rd and 4th Avenue, this cobblestone stretch is one of Nashville’s oldest and most storied streets, once home to 13 publishers and 10 printers before it evolved into a nightlife haven. Today, it’s packed with character: jazz, blues, burlesque, whiskey bars, and karaoke joints, all glowing under neon signs and string lights.

Some spots are absolute musts—Skull’s Rainbow Room is a classic with burlesque and live jazz in an old-school speakeasy vibe. The Bourbon Street Blues and Boogie Bar still brings the heat with legends like B.B. King once playing here. And if you're up for something different, The Whiskey Shot lets you test your aim while sipping a cocktail.

The alley comes alive after 6 pm, so don’t show up too early. Walk up from Broadway on 3rd Ave North and you’ll land right in the heart of it. It’s not just a cool side street—it’s where Nashville’s past and present mix like a perfect cocktail. Worth a detour? Absolutely.

What a great idea while you are staying with us!

Most Nashville visitors drive right past this incredible hidden waterfall… but the few who find it say it’s one of Tennessee’s most unforgettable day trips. 🌿💦
