Prior to the sudden passing of Blondy of Sequence we were working on an exhibit for NMAAM that would honor the history of the first commercial female rap group in hip hop history. Blondy was a dear client of our firm and she was instrumental in putting together the exhibit. She selected all the items and it was her visit to NMAAM with the director of curation and president that sparked the initiative to recognize the history often overlooked.
We are deeply saddened at her passing but are eternally grateful that she entrusted us with protecting her legacy. In Memoriam of Gwendolyn “Blondy” Chisolm.
is the last living member of the group and our very own Attorney Erica D. Baker moderated the fireside chat interview with her. It was a beautiful unveiling program. The children of Angie Stone who passed away in 2025 attended the unveiling with the sister of Blondy and the group’s DJ Deltonia Cannon. This was an amazing display of our commitment to serve the creative community.

The Official 615 Day Page celebration included our very own Partner Anjlee Khurana. She spoke on an incredible Creatives and Culture panel, hosted by Live Nation Live Nation Tennessee. She gave her unique insights into what makes Nashville unique and how creatives can protect themselves through the power of the law. It was a lively discussion alongside BMI Executive Director of Creative Shannon Sanders and Founder and CEO of Gild Creative Group, Tiffany Hardin.

Prolific Law celebrated our 6 months of Prolific Law in January with our first Prolific Creatives Writer Showcase. It was a meaningful night of music and storytelling, hosted in support of the Nashville Industry Fund Nashville Industry Fund . Thank you to 1865 Club for having us and our talented performers.

CHEERS TO SIX MONTHS OF PROLIFIC LAW 🥂

When we launched Prolific Entertainment Law Firm six months ago, we were clear about what would set us apart. The two pillars of our practice are accessibility and community engagement.

In this short time, we have shown up for artists, entrepreneurs, and families through education, advocacy, service, and celebration. From leading conversations on copyright termination and ownership, to supporting client projects and benefit concerts, to volunteering our time and resources, our work has remained rooted in access, visibility, and long-term impact.

We have stepped into rooms where culture and law intersect, partnered with industry leaders and historic institutions, and expanded our reach through media, community leadership, and national conversations, all while staying grounded in the purpose that led us here. Every room we entered was intentional, and we are deeply grateful to have been embraced and championed by the community.

Thank you to every referral, sponsor, collaborator, artist, partner, organization, and supporter who has been part of this journey.
