A federal judge has granted final approval of a groundbreaking settlement in the In re: Wells Fargo & Company Hiring Practices Derivative Litigation, establishing a $100 million borrower assistance fund designed to expand homeownership opportunities in underserved communities.

During the hearing, Judge Trina L. Thompson praised the legal teams’ creativity in crafting what she described as a “win-win for everybody.”
