“What made you choose to move to Tennessee?”People ask me that all the time at work!!

What a huge leap of faith we took having a newborn and deciding to leave what was previously called “home”.

We weren’t happy. We weren’t happy with our jobs, working endless hours to have all of our money go to taxes, rent, insurance etc. We were tired of not being able to be a part of our real estate projects we wanted to pursue in person. We were tired of trying to figure out childcare and thinking about how we’d have to pay $18k a year in LA for a private school.

So we decided one night, we were done. We wanted so many things that were possible, why couldn’t we just make it happen?

Now, I work 3.5 days a week, Kris is getting his real estate license. We don’t need childcare. And we are ACTIVE in our passion. Finally, we have the time, accessibility, support and mindset to achieve financial freedom!

Don’t be afraid of change! You are not stuck in one place. Today is the day!

Took a little break to reorient our direction and what our goals were. With covid it really made us think - what’s next for us and our family. Also been a little MIA because we welcomed our newest member to the crew last month!! 👶
These next few months we’ve got a lot going on and a lot of big moves happening.

It is a HUGE misconception that real estate “doesn’t work” - because “your friend tried it and they lost money” or something of that nature. But the truth is, you will NOT make money by just buying something and hoping for the best because 99% of deals you see are BAD DEALS! Would you put $200,000 in the stock market if you didn’t know what you were purchasing? Why would you do the same with real estate?
In my opinion, Investing in real estate is KEY to financial freedom because I’m drawn to it and I know a lot about how to pinpoint a good deal! Are you ready to learn how?? Drop a comment if you want info on how I got started with the basics :)

Why should you take control of your own future? Financial “experts” may not actually be experts and to be prepared for your future, you cannot be passive. I loved how Robert Kiyosaki put it - When someone asks “is real estate a good investment?” He replied “I don’t know. Are you a good investor?” Success isn’t dependent on the asset class but on the intelligence of the investor. Know the market your in, know it well, and you’ll be successful.

I heard this quote on a podcast this morning and I thought it was so relevant! I used to be so afraid to take risks or would over analyze things before I made a decision. One of my goals this year was to be a bigger risk taker and just say “YES” to new challenges. Only those entrepreneurs who take big risks have a chance for success. Often people get too complacent because there is “security” in being complacent, when in reality, there is nothing secure about it! It’s just living each day the same. Embrace the change, follow your ideas and goals. Always say “YES” to the next challenge!
