GERARDO DEAN allegedly provided false information to immigration officials on behalf of individuals in the Philippines who were seeking U.S. visas.

Nursing Homes To Pay $36M To End DOL Wage Suit.

“U.S. District Judge William S. Stickman IV entered a judgment in favor of the DOL of about $18 million in both back wages and liquidated damages. Judge Stickman said that the nursing homes under the umbrella of Comprehensive Healthcare Management Services and CEO Sam Halper willfully violated the Fair Labor Standards Act.”

123 people arrested and charged with human trafficking or trafficking-related charges in a successful undercover investigation in Florida.

This s*x trafficking case involved children as young as 10.

According to the sheriff, those arrested included a teacher, nurse, basketball coach and a person employed by a spiritual organization.

Every county in every state should have a unit like Hillsborough County’s Human Trafficking Squad.
