Governor Lamont has directed that legal services are essential services and thus Block Janney & Sisley will remain open but with limited operations in order to protect the health of our clients, our staff and the public in general.

Meetings are by appointment only and we are encouraging meetings by phone and/or video conference, where possible. The doors to our offices will be locked and we request that if you require access to the offices for a scheduled appointment, you call the phone # that is posted on the door during normal business hours (8:30AM to 5PM).

Residential closings are proceeding but we remind you that ONLY those persons actually signing documents will be permitted to attend the closing. Buyers and Sellers will not attend closings together either. We will be in contact with you regarding the scheduling of your closing.

Commercial transactions will proceed and arrangements will be made with the parties to the transaction.

Because certain of our staff will be working from home and/or on staggered in-office hours, we are asking that you email us directly rather than leaving voicemails. The addresses for our attorneys and staff are below:
