Accidents happen and you should know what to do if they happen to you! If you are injured on someone’s property or at a business establishment, here are a few things you should do:

•report the incident to the premise owner so they can fix the problem that caused the incident to happen
•fill out an incident report if there’s one available
•take photos
•document when, where and how the incident happened
•ask and document the names of the employees and/or the owner that you reported the incident to
•seek medical treatment if you are injured
