After losing their beloved cat Espresso to cancer far too soon, Terry and her husband were heartbroken. As the months passed, the silence in their home became overwhelming, and their hearts still had room to love again.

Terry initially fell in love with Anastasia, formerly known as Lightening. Although Anastasia had to stay behind briefly due to a medical issue, Terry patiently waited until she was ready to come home. During that time, Terry and her husband decided one cat simply wouldn’t be enough. That’s when Isabel, formerly known as Mops, entered the picture and found her forever home too.

Though Anastasia and Isabel came to the shelter separately, it didn’t take long for them to become inseparable. Their very first adventure together was the ride home, with a stop at the vet to get acquainted and checked over. Since then, the pair has turned their new home into one giant playground filled with love, fun, and companionship.

This handsome 4½-year-old orange tabby is the definition of laid-back charm. Frankie loves greeting visitors, soaking up pets, and making new friends at his own easygoing pace. One of his favorite pastimes is lounging on his window perch, happily birdwatching the day away.

Frankie is a big fan of comfy beds, quiet company, and relaxing afternoons. He’s not much of a toy-chaser — he prefers the calm, cozy lifestyle. While he can coexist with other cats given a proper adjustment period, Frankie would truly shine as the king of his own castle. Small children may do well with him too, but we’d recommend a meet-and-greet first to make sure it’s the perfect match.
