PRESS RELEASE/ANNOUNCEMENT
David Shafer, managing partner of Nolan & Shafer, PLC, is pleased to announce that the name of this long-time Muskegon-based law firm has changed its name to Shafer Swartz, PLC.
Matthew Swartz joined the firm in 2019. Mr. Swartz brought a wealth of experience and an impressive list of professional accomplishments to the firm. Since joining Shafer in 2019 Swartz has continued to rack up terrific results for his clients.
Shafer Swartz, PLC, handles injury and wrongful death cases. Many of our cases include car accidents, trucking accidents, motorcycle accidents, bus accidents, boating accidents, premises liability cases, dog/animal attack cases, civil rights cases, nursing home neglect cases, defective product cases, and any other cases in which a person is injured due to the carelessness of another.
Unlike other firms who dabble in handling injury cases or simply refer them to other attorneys to obtain a co-counsel fee, Shafer and Swartz personally meet with each client and handle the cases themselves from start (initial phone call) to finish (settlement/verdict/judgment). This includes meeting with clients in hospitals, long-term care facilities, homes, and during the evening and on weekends. Shafer Swartz, PLC enjoys a great working relationship with many other firms/lawyers throughout Michigan who refer cases because of the firm’s proven record of obtaining great results for clients.
Shafer Swartz PLC primarily focuses on those in our lakeshore community and up and down the west coast of Michigan, though the firm handles cases throughout the state and in other states as well.
Mr. Swartz joins Attorney David Shafer, who has been with the firm since graduating from law school in 1995. David Shafer was born, raised and continues to live full time in Muskegon. Mr. Shafer has the distinction of having the largest auto accident verdict in Muskegon County history. He also has the largest auto accident settlement in Muskegon County history.
