We’re heartbroken to hear of the passing of a truly incredible woman who meant so much to our community. Kathy was dedicated to the works of the Callaway County Humane Society, always there with a warm smile and open arms for every animal — and every person — who needed care.

Kathy showed up year after year to help us with our lemonade stand, just happy to lend a hand. Her spirit, generosity, and gentle heart made her a joy to work with and a blessing to know.

She gave so much to this community — through her work, her compassion, and her time. We are better for having known her, and she will be missed.

In our rural county, many bus stops have sight limitations, making it crucial to exercise caution during pick up and drop off times. So many of our students rely on school buses for transportation daily, so let's all do our part to ensure their safety.

Remember, passing a school bus or engaging in unauthorized activities around school buses can result in serious criminal traffic offenses. Let's work together to protect our children and keep our community safe.

Due to construction on 4th Street our office will have to be accessed via the Judicial Building parking lot. If the two front entrances are blocked you can access the judicial parking lot from the rear off of Spruce Street.
