Right now, some Middle Tennessee buyers are negotiating lower prices, seller-paid closing costs, repairs and mortgage-rate buydowns.

Buying now may make sense if you find the right home, expect to stay at least five to seven years and can comfortably afford today’s payment without depending on a future refinance.
