Hurricane Update:

In light of approaching Hurricane Milton and for the safety of our employees, we will be closing on Tuesday, Oct. 7th at 4pm. Our office will be closed on Wednesday, Oct. 9, Thursday, Oct. 10 and Friday, Oct. 11th.

Polk County is making sandbags available throughout the county on Saturday, Aug. 3, only. Locations below will be open from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. A maximum of 10 sandbags will be provided to each household address to help prevent water intrusion into the home. You will need to bring a driver license to show your local address.

Mulberry/South Lakeland – Loyce E. Harpe Park, 500 W. Carter Road
Lakeland – 8970 N. Campbell Road, Lakeland
Fort Meade – 1061 NE 9th St., Fort Meade
Frostproof – 350 County Road 630A, Frostproof

We love being in Mulberry!

This Week...Mulberry Phosphate Museum is hosting their annual Shark Week Comes Ashore with special shark themed events every day this week, Mulberry's GEM Theater has weekend productions of Disney's Newsies by The Missing Piece Theatre Company, The Mulberry Public Library has their last "Big Friday" program with Gatorland, and Studio 37 has a full week of programming! There is something for everyone in Mulberry!

Effective this week, Republic Services will be picking up recycling and bulk items every other week. Garbage pickup will continue to be every Monday and recycling and bulk will be every two weeks starting next Monday (8/21). If you have your recycling out today (8/14), please take it back in and put it out for next Monday. If you have any questions, please call customer service at 863-425-1125.
