Prior to choosing a career in real estate, Gerard spent nearly a decade as an Attorney focused on the legal needs of New York City at large. His practice later expanded to include Real Property and Estate Planning. In 2017, the New York City Department of Education selected Gerard to serve the City of New York as a Teaching Fellow utilizing his skills and experiences to ignite students’ imaginatio
ns, challenging them to dream big. Gerard joined the 2017 cohort with a mission to have a huge and lasting impact on students’ lives, helping them realize their potential and meet their goals. Gerard seeks to bring this same passion for public service and creative problem solving to families and investors. A Queens native, he earned his J.D. in 2007 from Fordham University School of Law and his B.A. in 2003 from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. He is a trained professional wrestler and an avid Brazilian Jiu Jitsu competitor having medaled and won numerous tournaments.
