If you grew up in Middle Tennessee, you could basically get to anywhere in 15 to 20 minutes. Now if you are driving to the other side of the city, it’s like driving from Italy to Germany. I still have a hard time absorbing our actual commute times these days. My words of wisdom, if you have to sacrifice anything on your home search… location probably shouldn’t be the one.

Everything comes with a price.

And as I’ve gotten older, I’ve become more intentional about what I’m willing to pay for success.

I don’t want to overcommit to every new opportunity if it means I can’t give my clients the level of service they know me for.

And I don’t want to be so focused on work that I miss the life I’m working so hard to build.

For me, success looks a lot more like enough these days.

Enough work to do meaningful business.
Enough margin to serve my clients well.
Enough time to be present with my family.
Enough ambition to keep growing…
but enough contentment to appreciate where I am right now 🫶🏻

A program steeped in history. Traditions that run deep. And a fan base that brings an energy you simply can’t duplicate. There’s nothing quite like Neyland on game day. 🍊 add it to the long list of reasons that Tennessee is the best place to call home.

A good reminder that real estate is about so much more than what happens online.

This listing took a little time to sell in an oversaturated price range. It was a beautiful, quality-built home, but competing for attention alongside a lot of fast new construction and track builder incentives.

In the end, it wasn’t MLS that brought the right person through the door. It was a simple conversation with someone in my local community.

One conversation led to another, and eventually, the right buyer found the home— a first time buyer!! 🏡

It’s a reminder I never want to lose sight of: RELATIONSHIPS MATTER. Being involved in your community, knowing people, and simply talking about what you do can sometimes create opportunities that no marketing strategy can manufacture.
