🌫️ The Invisible Threat: Is Your Home Safe?
You can’t see it, smell it, or taste it—but Radon is a serious health risk that is often overlooked during the home-buying process.

In this photo, we are setting up a Continuous Radon Monitor. This high-tech device stays in a home for 48 hours to track the levels of radon gas in the air. Why is this so important? Because Radon is a naturally occurring radioactive gas that can seep in through cracks in the foundation and is the second leading cause of lung cancer in the U.S. 🛡️💨

At Elevate Inspection Group, we believe you shouldn't have to guess about the safety of the air your family breathes. Whether you’re moving into a new place or have been in your home for years, testing is the only way to know your levels.

If the levels are high, don't panic! It is a fixable problem. But you have to know the numbers first.

Protect your peace of mind. Add a Radon test to your next inspection! 🏠✨

Is your furnace gasping for air? 🌬️💨

In this video, Jaymie is showing off a "real-world" example of a common home inspection find: a completely neglected HVAC filter. It might look gross, but the real issue is what it’s doing to your system!

At Elevate Inspection Group, we want to help you avoid those "emergency" service calls. When a filter gets this dirty:
❌ It restricts airflow, making your furnace work twice as hard.
❌ It leads to premature mechanical failure.
❌ It spikes your energy bills.

The good news? Changing your filter is the simplest, cheapest way to protect your home’s heating and cooling system. We recommend checking yours every 1–3 months to keep things running smoothly!

Headline: Buying a home? 🏠 Don't pick just ANY inspector!

Not all home inspections are created equal. To make sure your future home is truly a safe investment, here are 5 things you need to consider when choosing your inspector:

1️⃣ Expertise: Look for deep knowledge and experience. Ask to see a sample report so you know exactly what kind of detail to expect.
2️⃣ Reputation: Check those reviews! A solid online presence and positive feedback from past clients tell you a lot about the quality of their work.
3️⃣ Services Offered: Can they do it all? From Radon testing and Sewer Scopes to Well and Septic inspections, your inspector should be a one-stop shop for your peace of mind.
4️⃣ Technology & Tools: A flashlight isn't enough. Ensure they use advanced tools like thermal imaging and moisture meters to find what the naked eye might miss.
5️⃣ Communication & Speed: Time is of the essence in real estate! You need an inspector who communicates clearly and delivers your report quickly so you can make informed decisions fast.

At Elevate Inspection Group, we pride ourselves on hitting all five of these marks every single time. Ready to book? Send us a message today!

Headline: Preparing for a Home Inspection? 🏠 Here are 5 spots we NEED to access!

To give you the most thorough inspection possible, we need to be able to get eyes on the "bones" of the home. Here’s a quick checklist of the top 5 areas to clear before we arrive:

The Attic Hatch: These are often tucked away in closets. Please clear out any clothes, shelves, or heavy items so we have room to set up a ladder.

Crawlspace Entries: Whether it’s under the stairs or outside the house, make sure the path is clear of debris or landscaping so we can get in safely.

The Electrical Panel: We need enough space to stand directly in front of the panel to work on it. If it’s in a garage or basement, please move any stored bins or equipment.

Furnace & Water Heater: We need to see the data plates and check all shut-off valves. If these are surrounded by seasonal storage, please give them some breathing room!

Under the Sinks: We’re looking for active leaks! Removing that "mountain" of cleaning supplies from under the kitchen and bathroom sinks helps us see the plumbing clearly.

A little bit of prep goes a long way in making the inspection process smooth for everyone involved! 📝✅

⚡️ House Renovation Checklist: Don’t Forget the Details!
When you’re flipping a house or tackling a major renovation, getting the aesthetic right is only half the battle. The real value is in the safety and functionality that happens behind the drywall! 🛠️🏠

At Elevate Inspection Group, we love seeing refreshed homes, but we also look for those "finish line" shortcuts that can cause headaches for future homeowners.

In this video, we’re showing a common find: the floating outlet. 🔌🚫
It looks great with the new cover plate on, but without being properly secured to the electrical box, it pushes right into the wall when you try to plug something in. This doesn’t just damage your beautiful new trim and plates—it can lead to loose wiring and safety risks over time.

Our advice for renovators:
✅ Ensure all electrical boxes are flush and secure.
✅ Verify that outlets are firmly mounted before the plates go on.
✅ Double-check that every "new" outlet is properly grounded!

We’re here to make sure that "Sally Homeowner" can move in and plug in her coffee maker without a hitch. Do it right the first time, and your buyers will thank you!

🌡️ See the Unseen: Thermal Imaging in Action
At Elevate Inspection Group, we believe that what you can’t see matters just as much as what you can. That’s why we use thermal imaging to verify that your home’s systems are performing at their best! 🕵️‍♀️✨

In this clip, we’re checking the HVAC registers. We’re looking for a healthy "temperature differential"—the difference between the room's air and the air coming out of your vents.

In this home, we’re seeing a 20-degree drop from the room temperature, which is a sign of superior cooling performance! ❄️ Maintaining this balance not only keeps you comfortable but also ensures your system isn't overworking, saving you money on energy bills in the long run.

Whether it’s checking for hidden insulation gaps or ensuring your AC is ready for the summer heat, we’ve got the tools to give you the full picture.
