I grew up on Kent Island (Maryland's Eastern Shore) and in Annapolis, Maryland (met my husband there). While hubby was active duty Navy we traveled the country, but upon his retirement Maryland is home once again. I have lived in Mt Airy for 15 years and enjoy volunteering to help keep our Town the special place it is. I come from a real estate background (settlement officer) so being an agent was

The other evening I joined the Mount Airy Kiwanis Club. Im thrilled to be a part of the organization. In college I was a member of CKI (a college branch of Kiwanis) and I guess have returned home. Stay tuned for happenings.

At our meeting last Wednesday evening, we were elated to welcome Mary Hushour as the newest member of our club! 2026-2027 Lieutenant Governor Elect, Liz Moore, performed the induction. Our 4th annual Mount Scary had a very successful Saturday. We had a fantastic turn out for Spooky trail, the Haunted caboose, trunk or treat, and the costume contest. What a fun evening. Great costumes and spooky cars. Yes that is me dress up in white. I was a haunted pop star (lol people did not recognize me).
