The roots of my practice run deep in East Tennessee.

My ancestor, Louis Alexander Gratz, was born in Prussia in 1842 and came to America with nothing. He enlisted in the Union Army in 1861, rose to the rank of Major, and settled in Knoxville after the war. There he became an influential attorney, a community leader, and a prominent business lawyer for the L&N Railroad.

His life showed that the law is a powerful tool for building a better future. I'm proud to carry that tradition forward today in Morristown.
