SCAM ALERT!!!!!!
Hot off the presses the newest in a long line of Toll/parking scams. This one looks more official but please remember no NC agency is going to text asking you to pay fines. NC also doesnt have QR codes to pay court fines.

There are many ways in NC of losing your license. The most surprising to people I talk to is that you can lose it for paying a 80 in a 65 ticket online. NC GS § 20-16 a(10) states that the DMV has the authority to suspend your license if the licensee " Has been convicted of operating a motor vehicle at a speed in excess of 75 miles per hour on a public road or highway where the maximum speed is less than 70 miles per hour"

While an attorney can often reverse the guilty plea of paying an online ticket best just to get it handled correctly the first time.

(a) The Division shall have authority to suspend the license of any operator with or without a preliminary hearing upon a showing by its records or other satisfactory evidence that the licensee:
