Vermonters with disabilities, chronic health conditions, caregiving responsibilities, and other life experiences often face difficult choices when it comes to work, health, recovery, and financial stability.

The “802 Reasons” campaign is collecting personal stories from Vermonters about paid leave, caregiving, illness, recovery, and the realities many people face when support systems fall short. Sharing lived experiences can help bring visibility to barriers that are too often invisible until someone experiences them firsthand.
