Chase’s practice focuses on defending workers’ compensation claims and intentional torts arising out of workers’ compensation claims, including co-employee liability and retaliatory discharge claims. Chase also has experience defending personal injury claims resulting from highway and premises accidents. Chase represents insurance companies, Funds, self-insured entities, governmental entities, corporations, healthcare providers, and other businesses, both large and small, throughout the entire state of Alabama.

A Montgomery, Alabama native, Chase obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Alabama and his Juris Doctor from Cumberland School of Law.

Hill Hill Carter attorney Yurie Yeoul Bae successfully defended a Georgia-based electrical contractor, obtaining summary judgment on all claims asserted by Plaintiff before the Superior Court of Gwinnett County, Georgia. Plaintiff, a staffing agency, sought damages exceeding $1.5 million arising from Defendant’s termination of contract. Ms. Bae also secured summary judgment in favor of Defendant against Plaintiff and Third-Party Defendant, an officer of Plaintiff, in an amount exceeding $95,300.

She provides strategic legal counsel to corporate clients in the automotive, construction, and logistics industries on a wide range of commercial transactions, construction contracts, and labor and employment issues. Yurie also represents clients in civil litigation and in proceedings before state and federal administrative agencies.

Before joining us, Yurie earned her J.D. from Emory School of Law, served as litigation counsel for one of the world’s largest electronics manufacturers, and was a founding member of DeWeese & Bae, LLC.

HILL HILL CARTER’S DANIEL T. SEAWELL ADMITTED TO THE U.S. SUPREME COURT BAR

We are pleased to announce on November 4, 2025, attorney Daniel T. Seawell of our firm was admitted and sworn in to the United States Supreme Court bar inside the courtroom of the U.S. Supreme Court in Washington, D.C. The admission ceremony swearing in was performed by Chief Justice John Roberts with all nine of the Justices on the bench. Immediately after the admission ceremony, the new admittees to the United States Supreme Court bar were given the privilege of observing oral arguments in this Nation’s Highest Court. Admittees to the U.S. Supreme Court bar have met specific qualifications. These qualifications include being in good standing with a state's highest court for at least three years, which in Daniel’s case involves his being in good standing in the Alabama and Mississippi Supreme Courts. Due to this privilege, Daniel is now able to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court. This admission provides him the ability to file petitions and responsive pleadings as well as present oral arguments for his clients before the U.S. Supreme Court Justices. His bar entry also allows him special, preferred seating in the courtroom of the U.S. Supreme Court for future oral arguments and announcement of decisions as well as access to the Supreme Court Library and special members-only areas within the Supreme Court building.

Claire began her career with Hill Hill Carter as a legal assistant and now continues her professional journey with the firm as an attorney. Her practice focuses on civil insurance defense litigation.

Claire earned her Juris Doctor from Faulkner University, Thomas Goode Jones School of Law, in 2024. She graduated magna cm laude from Auburn University at Montgomery in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Justice & Public Safety and Legal Studies.
