Bakers also take part in the Banana Pudding Contest, where the top prize can reach up to $1,000. As you walk through town, you’ll hear live music and see pottery and basket weaving demos while checking out more than 100 vendors from six states selling crafts, vintage finds, art, clothing, and handmade goods. Families can head to the Kids Zone for a free petting zoo, pony rides, and animal encounters. With food trucks, sweet treats, and plenty to do all day, it’s a fun-filled day in Monterey…all centered around some of the best banana pudding you’ll ever try!
