Kourtnee A. Jones Law announces:
Case: Dismissed
Charge: Principal to Degree Murder
On September 9, 2024 I was contacted concerning a murder that took place in Tallulah, La. My client, Jaden Johnson, was wanted for questioning by the Louisiana State Police as he had been at the scene. I refused. I met with the family and explained what the likely charges would be and wouldnāt you know it he was charged like I said.
On September 18, 2024 a little over a week later LSP executed a search warrant and arrested my client on the above charge. Jadenās family was able to arrange bond ($250,000) and retain me in the same day. Jaden went home and the fight began.
I am so happy to announce on Thursday February 13, 2025 after discovery the Madison Parish District Attorney dismissed the charges.
Jaden and his family were able to leave and put this unfortunate tragedy behind them. Jaden never made a statement and never agreed to any arrangements that would require him to testify. Seeing the smile on his face and his familyās face made all the difference in the world and highlighted why I do what I do! The stress that immediately melted, was a blessing to witness.
