What a morning for MAAR & Women’s Council of REALTORS®!

Thank you to everyone who joined us at The Battle House for our MAAR/WCR Joint Membership Breakfast! It was a wonderful morning of connection, celebration, and recognizing some of the incredible people who make our REALTOR® community so special.

🏆 We were especially proud to recognize our 2026 award recipients:

REALTOR® of the Year – Melanie Bunting-Seymour
Recognized for her servant leadership, professionalism, mentorship, and dedication to both the real estate industry and the Mobile community.

❤️ Jamie Praytor Humanitarian Award – Hope Brown

The Alabama Association of REALTORS® has issued a statewide Call for Action ahead of the Alabama Real Estate Commission’s vote tomorrow, August 20.

A proposed rule would change how disputed earnest money is handled in Alabama real estate transactions. We believe brokers should remain neutral and contracts should matter.
