🎉 What a fantastic Governmental Affairs Forum! 🎉

Yesterday, we had the pleasure of welcoming Mayor Spiro Cheriogotis as our guest speaker. Members enjoyed an informative discussion, a wonderful lunch catered by Stephanie’s, and an incredible turnout that left us nearly standing room only!

A special highlight of the event was Mayor Cheriogotis graciously drawing the winner of our latest RPAC contest. Congratulations to Charlie Plyler, who took home over $500 worth of summer goodies! ☀️🏖️🎁

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this event such a success. We appreciate Mayor Cheriogotis for sharing his time and insights, Stephanie’s for the delicious meal, and all our members for their continued engagement and support.

❤️ Giving Back to Those Who Inspire Us ❤️

On June 1, members of MAAR's Community Relations Committee had the privilege of preparing and serving a spaghetti dinner for the incredible campers, families, and volunteers of Camp Rap-A-Hope.

Camp Rap-A-Hope provides year-round support and a free summer camp experience for children battling cancer and their families throughout Alabama, Florida, and Mississippi. Through friendship, encouragement, and unforgettable experiences, the camp helps children focus on being kids—not patients.

Our REALTORS® are committed to building stronger communities, and we were honored to support an organization that brings hope, joy, and encouragement to so many families during difficult times.

This is just one of the many ways our members give back. Next month, our Community Relations Committee will be back in the kitchen serving dinner for Camp Smile, another incredible Gulf Coast camp dedicated to enriching the lives of children with disabilities.
