I scored a huge win this week when a Wyandotte County judge dismissed charges against Wyandotte County Sheriff’s deputy Richard Fatherley following a two-and-a-half-day preliminary hearing. The judge found that the State failed to establish probable cause that Richard’s actions were the proximate cause of Charles Adair’s death - the very same conclusion reached by the Kansas Bureau of investigation. Unfortunately, the case is not over, as the State is pursuing an appeal. Stay tuned for updates! And thank you, Richard, for placing your trust in me!
