What I do is represent people in the preparation and filing of Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcies and related procedures. It seems that most of my clients are very reluctant to admit they need to do this, and many wait until way past when they should have come in. Often by the time I see them, they have exhausted their retirement accounts trying to keep up with payments that have become hopeless.
