Big news! Starting October 1, 2026, Zajac Law Firm will be moving to Shoreview, Minnesota at 4700 Lexington Avenue North, Suite 105, Shoreview, MN 55126. Free parking! I've been in the Grain Exchange in downtown Minneapolis for 26 years but they're now converting it to residential. We will be serving the Twin Cities and surrounding areas as always in the area of family law. We also refer to many other professionals/attorneys in different areas of the law.

Little Oven is a great value-I love to support quality non-chain restaurants. It’s an Italian restaurant but I usually get the turkey and mashed potatoes and also their quality side salad. As for family law, people’s expenses/budgets are scrutinized if they are seeking spousal maintenance. Is it a reasonable expense considering the marital standard of living?

James Reichert, attorney, in my suite, does these sorts of cases where employers cheat their employees. It happens often with Spanish-speaking employees, in my personal experience. I assist with these cases when it involves a Spanish-speaking client.

My sons are helping me move a bit today. After 26 years in the Grain Exchange, Zajac Law Firm will be moving somewhere else in the Twin Cities. They are converting our building to residential. We will be centrally located no matter where we go. 26 years is a long time!! Thomas Gallagher, attorney, got me to come to this building long ago! Stay tuned. Attorney Briese will be holding down the fort for the next couple of weeks. I’m going to South America (Argentina, Uruguay, maybe Chile), to meet with Hague attorneys abroad for work and to see the Andes mountains with wonderful Argentine friends. You’re in good hands! The Andes are the longest mountain range on earth!

Out with the old mattresses in with the new. It’s healthy to replace mattresses every seven years or so. I joke with clients often when they’re potentially fighting over the bed…I say, ‘do you truly want the damn bed that you slept in together’? Lol.
