We are mourning the loss of our longtime partner, colleague, mentor, and dear friend Tara Sutton, who passed away after a brief illness on September 20.
Tara spent her entire legal career at Robins Kaplan. Over more than three decades, she became an accomplished plaintiffs’ trial lawyer, a leader of our firm, and an unwavering advocate for people and communities facing some of the most difficult circumstances of their lives.
Her impact extended far beyond the courtroom. Tara was a generous mentor and a champion for the next generation of lawyers, and she helped shape our firm through her leadership, integrity, and deep belief that exceptional legal representation should be available to everyone.
Tara’s influence will endure in the clients she stood beside, the lawyers she taught and encouraged, and the colleagues who were fortunate to know and work alongside her. We will miss her enormously.
