A Little About JOHN A. Halpern is principal of the Minneapolis-based Halpern Law Firm, PLLC, which practices in the areas of creditors' remedies litigation, post-judgment collection procedures, business liquidation receiverships, and representing the interests of creditors in bankruptcy proceedings. and J.D. degrees from the University of Minnesota. Halpern has served as President of the Minnesota Chapter of the Federal Bar Association, Vice President for the FBA=s Eighth Circuit, Chairman of the Debtor-Creditor Remedies Committee of the Hennepin County Bar Association, Secretary of the Bankruptcy Section of the Minnesota State Bar Association, and on the Board of Directors of The Fund for the Legal Aid Society. Currently, he is a member of the Creditors' Rights Section and the Complex Commercial Litigation Committee of the Commercial Law League of America and of The Federalist Society for Law and Public Policy Studies.
