Foley Mansfield Chicago Partner Kasia Nowak and Attorney Brianna Bailey recently secured an early defense win for a client in the Circuit Court of Cook County, Illinois, obtaining dismissal of claims through strategic motion practice.

Today, we share about Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, a trailblazer in public service and education who made history as the first Hispanic woman and first Cuban American elected to the U.S. Congress in 1989.

She served 15 terms in the U.S. House, where she focused on international relations and human rights and became the first woman to chair the House Foreign Affairs Committee.
