Attorney Nolan had the pleasure of meeting Wisconsin's future governor David Crowley last evening at the 'Lawyers for Crowley' event in Milwaukee.
Voting matters, and this election matters deeply for Wisconsin and the future of our criminal justice system.
There are many misconceptions about who is eligible to vote in our state:
1. YOU CAN VOTE - If you have been previously convicted of a felony but are no longer on probation or extended supervision. You do not need to reinstate your voting rights in Wisconsin.
2. YOU CAN VOTE - If you have a pending felony case, and you are not currently on felony probation or extended supervision.
3. YOU CAN VOTE - If you have been convicted of a misdemeanor and are currently on supervision.
4. YOU SHOULD VOTE
Criminal justice reform in Wisconsin still has a long way to go. Wisconsinites' votes matter in this election.
