NCRA Court Reporting & Captioning Week (CRCW) is a weeklong event that highlights the many aspects of court reporting and captioning, the role the profession plays in public protection, and how it supports access to justice.

Cream City's Tricia Hastings and Michelle Gudex hard at work promoting our amazing profession!

Tricia Hastings and WCRA President Michelle Gudex attended a career fair today at Sheboygan North High School, which featured up to 1,500 high school students. They heard that their booth was the "place to be" and got some serious interest in the profession. “It was fun to see students come back with their friends as well,” they said.

Career fairs are very popular these days. Do you have one near you that you could attend to share our wonderful profession? Members can take advantage of our pilot program and get $150 for a half day event or $200 for a full-day event to help cover your time and expenses. Cream City's Sarah Hart and Michelle Gudex recently attended the 2025 National Court Reporter Association's annual conference in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Michelle competed in the speed contest and took 12th place in the literary category! Way to go!
