Jamie is a thoughtful, client-focused attorney who takes a practical approach to family law matters. She represents clients in divorce, paternity, and legal separation actions, and she also works as a Guardian ad Litem representing the best interests of minor children. She regularly handles cases involving custody and placement, child support, maintenance, and property division. Her clients are fu
lly educated in the abilities and limitation of the court system for resolving complicated family issues. She is a zealous and passionate advocate and litigator, when necessary, but she does not seek to unnecessarily increase the conflict between parties. Her goal is to help clients obtain realistic goals in a cost effective and professional manner. Jamie is a 2015 graduate of the Marquette University Law School and received her undergraduate degree in political science from the University of Kansas. Prior to attending law school, Jamie worked in partisan politics and for a nonprofit that recruits, trains, and elects women to elected and appointed office. Her background working with people from all walks of life and her familiarity speaking about complicated issues is an asset to any case. Jamie is an active member of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts, Wisconsin Chapter and currently serves on the Board of Directors. In her free time, Jamie enjoys watching sports, reading, volunteering, crafting, and spending time with her miniature schnauzer, Stormy.
