We are a designated housing community for active duty Navy families assigned to Naval Air Station Whiting Field, and also welcome all other qualified applicants--including military retirees, DOD civilian employees and the general public. Whiting Field Homes also offers easy access to all of the restaurant, shopping, beaches and lifestyle amenities Milton and the greater Pensacola area have to offer.

Dear Valued Residents,

As we continue our recovery efforts, I wanted to take a moment to thank each of you for the resilience, patience, and community spirit you have demonstrated throughout this challenging time.

I think we can all agree that the recovery efforts within our community have been remarkable. We are truly fortunate to be part of such a strong and resilient neighborhood that comes together in the aftermath of a natural disaster. The sense of community here is unmatched.

Many of you were outside checking on your neighbors as soon as the storm passed, and by the very next day, countless residents had already begun the cleanup process. Watching everyone come together to support one another has been inspiring. Your positive attitudes, cooperation, and willingness to help have played a significant role in the progress we have made thus far.

We recognize that many homes still require repairs, and we sincerely appreciate the understanding and flexibility you have shown throughout this process. Our team has been alongside you every day since the storm, working to address concerns, coordinate resources, and move recovery efforts forward. While the work can be demanding, this is our community, and you are our priority.

Please know that our crews remain committed to supporting the recovery effort for as long as necessary. They will continue working seven days a week to help restore our community and bring a sense of normalcy back to daily life. The warm welcome and kindness you have shown these teams have not gone unnoticed. Time and again, crew members have commented on the hospitality, gratitude, and community spirit displayed by our residents. It is one of the many reasons Whiting Field Homes is such a special place to live.

Most importantly, we are grateful that our residents and families are safe. Homes, property, and possessions can be repaired or replaced; the well-being of our residents cannot. Your safety will always be our highest priority.

On behalf of the entire Whiting Field Homes team, thank you for your patience, understanding, and partnership throughout this recovery process. We are proud to serve this community and honored to be a part of it.

Debris collection begins today in Santa Rosa County!

Residents may begin seeing debris collection trucks in their communities as crews start the first pass of storm debris pickup on publicly maintained roads.

Due to the significant volume of debris throughout the county, multiple passes will be necessary to complete collection. Cleanup will take time, and we appreciate your patience as recovery efforts continue.
