It’s back to school, traffic is busy at drop off and pick up times, school buses are buzzing around,  there’s a ton of road construction all over, walkers, joggers, bike riders, scooter operators & strollers are on roads & sidewalks and it’s getting cooler & a bit darker earlier.

As we move into late summer, we are booking appointments for exterior photos shoots, videos, aerial daylight & twilight photos, so we can take advantage of remaining nice weather and be ready to list houses from November through March, without worrying about dead grass, covered furniture, falling leaves, bare trees, and no flowers. Snow is pretty but we prefer MOST photos to show grass and the potential for outdoor entertaining.

Call us today so we will create a complimentary media package & take advantage of this beautiful time of year to snap some great pics of your front & back yard NOW!!

Invite us over BEFORE you close the pool & while the trees have leaves & the lawn furniture is still out on the deck or the patio!! We’ll bring plants if you don’t have any!

- we can’t believe that August is half over!! We are still busy working but we always make time for the Summit Farmers Market, every Sunday morning from 8am to 1pm.

We love bringing the dog & buying so many of our favorite foods!!

While everyone is slowing down for summer vacation…
For us Realtors, August is busy with closings.
We continue to preview and show homes.
We continue to talk to our buyers & sellers.
We continue to present offers on new listings.
We're planning for our September listings launch.
Buyers want to get moved in before school starts.
Sellers need to clear out junk, make donations, repair various items, pack & clean!
Our buyers want to close before Labor Day & have time to unpack & get kids ready for school.
Painters, floor finishers, handymen, locksmiths, cleaners, landscapers, designers, carpet stores, plumbers, electricians, pool companies and various workers are booked solid getting homes READY for move in or move out! We work right along with these contractors!

WE ARE JUST AS BUSY AS EVER!
We love having time off, but still need
to keep reading, learning, networking, answerng texts, messages and emails every day. We take phone calls at all hours because some of our clients are overseas and there is a time difference. We schedule walk through visits, get homes cleaned, keep in touch with our friends, family and clients in real time and on fb, ig, LinkedIn while also taking time to volunteer as we verify utility transfers, submit documents to lawyers and other agents, & also take time to celebrate a few of our sales and closings. Thanks to all who help us keep it together and for our many referrals.

We love the idea of helping kids learn how to swim by promoting this program through our local Millburn Recreation. If you are willing to make a donation of a new or gently used bathing suit or goggles for children, please let us know and we can come and pick it up for you and deliver it on your behalf. We can also take a gift card and use it at target or one of the local stores to provide what’s needed. Where we live, we are so fortunate that most kids can take swimming lessons and have the necessary gear to jump in the pool. Swimsuits lead to swim lessons and swim lesson lessons lead to saving lives. Let’s all contribute!! In

🩳🩱🥽 The champs are back! Millburn Recreation is proud to participate again in the New Jersey Recreation and Park Association's Bathing Suit and Goggle Drive this summer!

Children in underserved communities that may have access to swimming and swim lessons cannot attend because they lack proper bathing attire. Millburn has collected the most donations FOUR YEARS IN A ROW!

Bring new (or gently used) bathing suits and goggles to the Millburn Town Pool during normal pool hours through August 15.

When you donate at the pool, you can take a picture with your donation and the Championship Belt! With permission, we will post pictures of donors with the belt each week on our social media pages!

Since the Championship Belt is passed along to the winner each year, every town and county in New Jersey wants to top us this year. Let's go for 5 in row!

Bathing suits and goggles collected will be distributed through NJRPA member agencies and social service agencies in need.

Residents who are not members may bring donations to Millburn Town Hall (22 East Willow Street) during normal business hours (sorry the Championship Belt will be living at the pool!). Interested in joining the pool? Get your membership today! twp.millburn.nj.us/CommunityPass
