If your home isn’t selling in Richmond, that doesn’t automatically mean the market is bad or that you just need to wait it out.

Sometimes the way buyers are responding is already telling us what needs attention. Showings without offers, repeated feedback, or interest that never turns into action all give us something useful to work with.

The question is whether the issue is price, presentation, positioning, or simply that the home isn’t connecting with buyers the way we expected.

That’s why a strong selling strategy isn’t just about waiting. It’s about paying attention to the response, understanding what it means, and making a thoughtful adjustment when the market points us in that direction.

Working in Richmond real estate gives us a front row seat to some of the best full-circle moments. 🫶

The first-time buyer who starts out convinced they’ll never feel ready… and then finally gets the keys at the closing table.
The family who sends photos a few weeks after closing because the boxes are gone, the pictures are on the walls, and the house already feels completely different from the day we first walked through it.

The person who’s been following along from another state, learning the neighborhoods, saving local recommendations, and eventually reaches out to say, “Okay… I think we’re ready to make the move.”
Those are the moments that remind us why we love what we do.

We get to meet people before the decision feels real, walk alongside them while they figure out the next step, and sometimes get a little glimpse of the life they build after the paperwork is finished.
That part never gets old.
