The night of my Dad’s funeral, my artist’s post popped up for this flash event at Naults Seacoast Indian Motorcycle

My Dad hasn’t rode in years, but when he did, he road Indians. I remember his stories when he was stationed in the west coast, and when he came back to the East.

Love this piece that will start a the upper sleeve for my Dad, that Elise and I had already begin designing before my Dad started the hospital stays. My Dad knew he would be permanent artwork on me, and I know he would have loved this part of it.

My dad was always my protector, my best friend, my world. Over the last four months, I advocated fiercely as he struggled with health issues.Close friends and clients have been there throughout, and I am so thankful for you all.

I lost him this weekend, and the grief process (one I help clients with daily) has started. The navigation between anger and complete heartache. While in our beliefs, I have peace knowing he is free, he was welcomed with open arms up above, there will be much more behind the scenes to navigate.

Neither of us were ready for goodbye.

All clients scheduled this week have been emailed. I will be working to get documents, calls and appointments rescheduled during Monday and Tuesday evening hours and Wednesday (all day).

Protecting your peace will control the narrative to your chapters.

Business owners: whether it be employees or customers, there will always be difficult days. Do not let that outweigh the positive ones. Maybe a competitor is speaking negatively about you: don’t feed into it. Maybe a landlord is trying to hold you back: find a team to help you move ahead.
🌻
Parents: you can not control the parenting in full anymore. But you can protect and control your time. You can protect your kid(s) time when they are with you. Learn to set boundaries (hi we offer coaching for that) and learn to not feed into the negative.
🌻
Pet owners, soon to be separated/divrocees, famil dealing with estate matters and so on…. There is a way to protect your peace, while having a voice (and boundary).

Never hesitate to reach out to an SOS or just a need for advice. We are here for it!

I have had the honor for over a decade to work with incredible parents, and some really great dads.

Personally, my own dad is my best friend. He holds one of the biggest parts of my heart, and has created a standard that is almost unreachable.

My son, he is one of the lucky ones. His dad has followed in the footsteps of my dad, and has reached that standard of being the best dad. As my son would say, “he has the best dad in the WHOLLEEE world”.

Wishing all the moms a beautiful Mother’s Day 🌻

I was blessed to be a dog mom for years and to have had my pack with me from pregnancy until the last year. They taught me and prepared me for motherhood, and I became a mom to the best little boy, one I prayed for and who was truly a miracle.

Motherhood is a selfless and beautiful journey, and it’s been my favorite chapter in life. (Dog and human)
