Unpopular opinion from a Realtor with an interior design degree: the finishes you're obsessing over during the house hunt will matter a lot less a year from now.

What you'll notice every single day is the light, the layout, the lot, and the street. Paint and fixtures are the easy part. You can change a backsplash in a weekend. You can't change which way the house faces.
