Miami overtakes Boston as third-priciest city for renters!
That’s correct! Miami edged out Boston as the third-most-expensive city to lease an apartment.
Nationally, the median rent for a one-bedroom surpassed $1,410, the thirteenth all-time high in the past 14 months, according to ranking services.
Rental prices have been rising aggressively In Miami. In March, Miami jumped San Jose to take fourth place among the most expensive rental cities.
In April rents surged 5.2 percent month-over-month. Some are calling Miami the most expensive housing market in the country. Perhaps this is because our corporate base is not as robust as in some other big cities so salaries can seem woefully inadequate at times especially in terms of housing cost?
We continue to hear these complaints about the Miami rental market, but the prices of properties keep going up as well. There’s definitely a relationship between those two price points. That’s definitely something to consider.
What are your thoughts on the Miami rental market???

Some reports are showing that Miami is the most expensive housing market in the country. Part of the dynamic at work here is that home prices in Miami have skyrocketed during the pandemic due to out-of-town buyers but salaries have not risen kept up with the pace of home prices.

According to The Miami Herald some property insurers have started to shed themselves policies written on homes with roof older than 25 years. They have been doing this to current policy holders not just in a new applicants. What will this do the state of the market? What are your thoughts?
