🚨 ¡Atención, familias! USCIS acaba de actualizar el Formulario I-864 (Declaración Jurada de Sostenimiento) y el cambio es efectivo de inmediato — sin período de gracia.

📋 ¿Qué cambió?
La nueva edición (fechada 08/24/26) autoriza a USCIS y al Departamento de Estado a solicitar el reporte de crédito del patrocinador para evaluar si sus finanzas son suficientes.

⚠️ Si tienes un “freeze” o congelamiento de crédito, debes estar listo para levantarlo rápido si USCIS lo solicita — esto podría causar retrasos.

✅ Los requisitos de ingreso (125% de las pautas de pobreza) NO cambiaron — esto es solo una nueva forma de verificación.

💡 Si ya tenías el formulario anterior preparado, debes usar la nueva versión antes de someter tu caso.
