The more I learn about permaculture, the more I realize it isn't really about gardening.

At least, not entirely.

What has surprised me most is how many of its ideas can be applied outside the garden. Things like being observant, using resources wisely, valuing diversity, and working with natural systems instead of constantly trying to force outcomes.

I'm still learning, but it's made me think differently about not only land, but also community, relationships, and everyday life.

Maybe that's the part of permaculture that doesn't get talked about enough. The culture side of it.

Not just how we grow food, but how we live, learn, and interact with the world around us.

The deeper I go, the more I realize there's a lot more to permaculture than plants.
