The international yachting legal world gathered in Tuscany for the 2026 Benetti Legal Symposium.

Representing Robert Allen Law, Founder Bob Allen, President and Senior Partner Umberto Bonavita, and Senior Partner Claudia Casalis took part in a series of discussions and networking sessions in Florence, followed by visits and meetings at Benetti’s Viareggio shipyard.
The symposium provided an excellent environment to exchange perspectives on current legal, operational and business matters affecting the yachting sector, while strengthening relationships across the industry.

Real estate attorney Nora Galego has joined Robert Allen Law as “of counsel.” With more than 40 years of experience in South Florida dealing with real estate purchases, sales, leases and mortgage lending, she will remain the managing partner of her own firm, Galego Law Group.

Nora’s association with Robert Allen Law represents a professional reunion with Robert “Bob” Allen, as they formerly worked together as partners in Allen & Galego, when she managed its Key Biscayne office.

Nora earned both her law and business administration degrees from the University of Miami and has a longstanding involvement in civic and professional organizations throughout Miami-Dade County, including the Cuban-American Bar Association, the Attorneys’ Real Estate Council, and the Key Biscayne Chamber of Commerce.

Robert Allen Law was pleased to attend Superyacht Investor London 2026, one of the leading conferences in the global superyacht industry.

Members of our team participated in several panels, sharing perspectives on global markets and the economic and geopolitical factors shaping the future of yachting.

Founder Bob Allen participated in the “Has Globalism Failed?” panel and also conducted an interview with Mr. Edmiston during the “Inside the Red Team” panel. Umberto Bonavita, President of the firm, joined the panel “Understanding Ownership Structures”, and Senior Partner Chris Anderson spoke on the panel “The Rise of Construction Financing”.
The firm was also represented by Serena Witter, Head of the Litigation team, who attended the conference.
